AC/DC Adapter: 

Although any lab supply can do the job, the PRL-760B and PRL-760C adapters can be used for most applications, and they plug directly into the modular jack provided on each module motherboard. A voltage cable is included, and no trouble-shooting is required.

Mounting Brackets

These handy brackets are great for grouping modules together. A pair of brackets mounts two modules of equal length (as shown in photo to left).

Voltage Distribution Modules

Single or triple voltage modules with modular jacks and binding posts. Four to choose from.

ECL Terminators: 

These functional modules enable direct connections between ECL and PECL signals and ground-referenced 50 Ω input measurement instruments, such as sampling scopes and counters, etc. An AC/DC adapter is included with each terminator module.

Clock Sources:  

Ready-to-use TTL, ECL, and PECL crystal clock sources, available with a variety of common frequencies. 

Extrusions

These are the same enclosures found on all of our products. Available in a variety of sizes, accommodating several standard PCB sizes to horizontal or vertical orientations.

Pin Sockets:

These low-profile pin sockets enable quick and easy component changes. They accept all Gigadapters, Voltage Regulator SIP Modules and components with lead diameter of 0.02-in. The MC10EL32 frequency divider, assembled in an SO8 Gigadapter, was clocked in excess of 3 GHz when tested in the GD970-3.8 motherboard using these sockets and the plug-in 50 W coaxial interconnect modules. Order #131002-B (bag of 250).

Stick Pins: 

Purchase additional stick pins for additional interconnect options on your board. 36-position, double row. Order #131004-A.

Surface Mount Components: 

When breadboarding or prototyping with Gigadapters, the most commonly used components are 0.1 µf decoupling capacitors, zero Ω jumpers and 49.9 Ω resistors. These components, in the 0805 size, are in a Surface Mount Component Kit, which includes one hundred 0.1 µf capacitors, fifty zero Ω jumpers and twenty-five 49.9 Ω resistors. Components with different values and sizes are also available. Order:

• 108000-A, 0.1 uf cap, #0805, 100 pcs.
• 113000-A, 0-Ohm jumper, #0805, 50 pcs.
• 113001-A, 49.9-Ohm, 1% resistor, #0805, 25 pcs.
• 131005-A, One each of the above

Plug-in 50 Ω Coaxial Interconnect Modules:  

These quick connect and disconnect modules are great time savers when compared to stripping, soldering and desoldering coaxial cables. Standard lengths are 4-in., 6-in. and 8-in., and mating stick pins are included.

Voltage Regulator SIP Module: 

Since every circuit requires some form of a power supply, an optimum Voltage Regulator SIP module saves time and eliminates the need for building and trouble-shooting. Each Gigadapter motherboard has a dedicated footprint for these modules.

I/O Connector SIP/DIP modules: 

These patented modules allow attachment of SMA, BNC, and triax connectors to standard 100-mil breadboards, without a custom footprint.
